About Us

​Kids N’ Action is a charity that looks after inner city kids who need activities out of school.
   We have been running since 2003, and by last year, 3000 inner-city kids had come to our different programmes.
  Our holiday programme happens in each of the major school holidays for kids aged 3-14; those who come are on low income, live in overcrowded homes, some of them have disabilities, and need to make new friends. Refugee children also come along; Its really important for them to learn English and also have fun.  It's a great opportunity for all to enjoy the different programmes we provide, we have lots of on-site programmes like sports, aerobics, a drama club, arts & crafts, and exciting visits from all kinds of groups, such as a Scottish Marching Band, a Fire Show, Circus Skills, Horse Riding, Road Safety, a Fun Fair , and lots of other entertaining and even educational visitors.
   We also take the kids on lots of different trips. They visit zoos, petting farms, Soft play centres, theme parks, water parks, canoeing & kayaking, snow tubing and tobogganing centers.
   The inner-city kids who come would never be able to afford any of this. Not only do they get loads of new experiences, they learn how to live healthily, they make lots of new friends, learn new skills, and most important of all, instead of weeks of boredom, frustration and dangerous inner-city streets, they have an amazing time. The kids go back to school enthusiastic, fit ,healthy and ready to face an often very challenging term ahead.
